The BPian Choir was founded in 1994 with about 40 lower secondary students. Through the years it grew in number and now has about 80 members. In 1997, the choir got bronze in its first attempt at the SYF Central Judging. In its latest attempt in 2011 however, it clinched gold.
In 1999, the choir together with the school's Drama Club, staged its first musical, ‘The Wizard of Oz'. In 2006, it collaborated with the Dance Club and the Chinese Orchestra in another musical, ‘Beauty and the Beast'. In 2002, the choir participated in the nation-wide Sing Singapore Competition, emerging as one of the top 5 choirs in the Schools Category. In addition to these public performances, the choir also performs at various school events such as the Annual Speech Day and Graduation Day, as well as at national events such as the National Day Parade.
