About Us
Bukit Panjang Girl Guides aims to nurture confident young women who lead with character and grace, and serve others with humility. Through weekly activities in a safe and supportive environment, Guides develop leadership, teamwork, discipline, critical thinking and practical life skills.
Guides take the lead in Unit and Patrol activities and are given opportunities to plan and organise key events such as the Secondary One Orientation Campfire, annual Girl Guides Camp and West Division FEST. They also explore issues such as cyber safety, body confidence and environmental sustainability, while acquiring outdoor skills such as outdoor cooking and gadget-making. Through HQ-organised programmes, competitions and community service projects, Guides are empowered to take action and make a positive impact.
Our Unit attained Gold in the Puan Noor Aishah Award in 2025. Outstanding Guides may also earn the Baden-Powell Award, the highest award presented by the Chief Commissioner to a Guide.
Through the challenges and experiences of the Guiding programme, our Guides grow in confidence, resilience and unity as they aspire towards greater heights.
