Think. Care. Serve. For the Service of Mankind.
The St John Brigade (SJB) is a uniformed group that nurtures caring and resourceful first aiders who are ready to serve the school and community. Guided by our motto, “For the Service of Mankind,” cadets develop essential first aid and emergency response skills while building confidence, teamwork, discipline and a strong sense of responsibility towards others.
Through training in First Aid, Home Nursing, Transportation of Casualty (TOC) and Foot Drill, cadets learn to respond calmly and effectively in different situations. They also participate in the Corps Proficiency Badge Scheme (CPBS), which provides opportunities to explore and develop additional skills and interests beyond their core training. Through competitions, community service and school events, cadets apply their skills in meaningful and authentic settings.
As members of the Northwest District, our cadets are encouraged to take on leadership roles, serve with compassion and continuously develop themselves as responsible and confident young first aiders.
